Day Treatment, Summer Program (DTS)

Our summer program offers age-appropriate activities similar to the afterschool program. In addition, it offers exclusive fun summer activities and community excursions as well as learning activities to keep each member intellectually stimulated. We focus on enriching participants’ lives,  building upon their skills and strengths, whilst providing lots of social interaction and activities. Our certified and experienced staff provide training and supervision based on each members’ needs.

Day Treatment, Adult (DTA) 

Our Day Program provides social interaction, therapeutic and community activities for individuals based on their individual needs. The program operates five days a week and is
individually tailored for individuals to learn new skills, pursue individual interests, and attain lifelong goals and dreams. Our highly trained direct care professionals escort members into the community for scheduled activities such as shopping, museum tours, library visits, movie theater, bowling, shopping malls, zoo, concerts and so much more.

 

Activities, services, and supports are provided to enhance skills in the following areas:

Day Treatment, After School (DTT) 

WellCare DTT program is an after-school program similar to the adult day program and offers an array of age-appropriate learning and social activities in a safe and comfortable learning environment for young adults and children under the age of 18. The program provides specialized sensory-motor, cognitive, communicative, social interaction, and behavior treatment to promote skill development. Our program empowers participants to build confidence, develop new skills, and integrate with the broader community.

Home & Community Based Services (HCBS)

Attendant Care –This service provides qualified care givers who deliver personal care services for individuals in their home or in a community setting. Individualized care is provided to meet the needs of the member and the member’s family. Our staff will assist the members with activities of daily living as outlined in their care plan.

 

Respite – The goal of this service is to provide relief to a family member or person providing care to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The service supports the emotional, social, and physical needs of the members in their home and community.

 

Habilitation – The service is designed to assist our members in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully at home and integrate in the community. We provide teachings on community safety skills, living skills, mobility training and safe transfers, and behavior management.

Group Support Employment (GSE) and Transportation

Our GSE service provides ongoing support services for employed members. This service provides members with an on site supervised work environment in a community employment setting. This service is designed to promote community integration with other members of the workforce and provide paid work. Non emergency transportation services are available for all members that we serve. We provide transportation services for day program services and employment-related services
